    Thread: FUNK Switch

    1. 09-15-2020 09:07 AM #1
      Hello everybody,
my name is Oli and I come from Germany. I've been quietly reading this forum for a long time. But now I've signed up because I have a question that is definitely not new.
It's about the FUNK switch 1j0 959 768. This switch has not been available for a very long time. In Germany, too, you no longer have a chance to get this switch.
So I wanted to ask if anyone would like to sell their switch or if they have an idea where they could still get one (replica). Shipping to Germany should also be possible.
A big thank you for your support and best regards

Oli - while I have no knowledge of this switch, I sincerely hope you are successful because I need at least 3 of those!
I want to be able to add some FUNK, no matter where i am!

      Good luck!

I know for a little while you could find replicas on eBay

The only one I see on there right now is a funk button/switch combo for a b5 Audi

Oli - is it just coincidence your name is an anagram for oil?

Sorry, I can not sell my FUNK switch. I list that on my many online dating profiles as one of my good attributes. If I let you have it, then I’ve got nothing(cept my good looks and vr6)

      LOL...

ECS still carries them and Ebay have plenty of them (just not the same part number, but looks the same) but OP is in Germany not sure why German Ebay doesn't have them. weird.

Ebay have plenty of them? Where? I searched at Ebay Germany and Ebay America. All I found were Audi Funk switches. Have I overlooked something?

@groundnpound: yes, it is just coincidence my name is an anagram for oil. In Germany it is only the short version of Oliver 😉

@groundnpound: thank you for your wishes. I hope I will find a switch...somewhere...on this planet.

      Best wishes

Try asking on the BurnAllTheMk4s group on Facebook. I recall seeing someone had a bunch of Funk buttons. Not the whole switch-- just the Funk portion. Better than nothing.

I sold mine a few years ago for $75
