The smoke thing on these teasers are funny. On the outside they're clearly hiding the most controversial element of the entire car. On the inside, seeing green smoke makes it look like the car is full of toxic gas/weed/farts.

So we're two days out and no magazines have broken the embargo on pictures yet? Surprised. Maybe it's so ugly the magazines don't want to hurt their own ad revenue by publishing pics of it.

      Yep.

I just find nothing interesting about this. I'm sure it'll be quick, set lots of great times, and be easy to drive quickly around a track. And I just don't care.

An M2 Competition might replace the C6 eventually. I'd leave it stock and take very good care of it. Because I think it is the last of it's kind from BMW.

^ that Frank Stephenson video was fantastic! Really cool to hear his thoughts on this design.

I went and watched a bunch of his other videos and then started researching the cars he designed. Although many of them are much older, I really like them and they're definitely iconic, New MINI, Ferrari 360, First X5, McLaren P1, Fiat 500. But then he also designed a lot of the other McLarens, which I find really generic Asian looking.

I can’t decide if it’s better or worse with the front plate.

The M3 looks completely hipless outside of this angle. So sad.

The official pictures don't make it look any better. The coupe in particular, is a mess.

Definitely worse than the F80 style wise. Performance will undoubtedly be impressive and probably will be the best all-around performer in BMW history.

The M3 looks way better than the M4 again. Not saying a lot this gen though. There's some bias in me saying this, but the F80 just has absolutely amazing proportions.

Sheesh, could the M4 look anymore generic and pathetic from the rear 3/4? My how the mighty have fallen!

Here’s something more refreshing to cleanse the palate:

I really like the M3, sans the pig nose. I actually think it looks better than the F80/82 (again, sans the nose).
