I'm looking for a new set of wheels. I want to stick with the 19" size that came with the car and keep an OEM look. I'm partial to lighter color wheels. IMO darker wheels hide the beauty of the wheel design.

      These are my top choices:
      #1

      https://www.ebay.com/itm/16418004442...MakeTrack=true
This is my favorite at the moment. They are the costliest option and are coming from abroad so shipping is ludicrous. These are off the T roc so the offset is 47mm. Will I need to run spacers for these to work?

      #2

      https://www.ecstuning.com/b-niche-wh...verona-003bkt/
I really like these, but they look less OEM. They are also the cheapest of the bunch and fit shouldn't be an issue. The color would look sick with a white car IMO.

      #3

      https://www.ecstuning.com/b-tsw-allo...0bar325112kt3/
The offset is 32mm and the wheel width is 8" I shouldn't have any issues right?

      Pretty safe option.

I like option #1 best. That's the 20" Tiguan SEL-Premium R-line wheel design. I would go with a set of take-off Tiguan 20" rims for a lot less than what you'll pay for 19" ones shipped from overseas. I think they are 20x8.5 with 40 mm offset, so no spacers needed either. I think 8.5" width is the perfect width for 245 tires anyway and give you a slightly more aggressive stance. I also prefer silver wheels. To me, spending big money on black wheels is a waste. You could just put black hubcaps on the car and it would look the same.

The Arteon SEL-P comes with 20" wheels, so 20" is a stock size, albeit 1" larger than your current size.

BTW, there's a picture of a red Arteon with 21" version of the #1 option wheel at the bottom of page 4 here. It looks fantastic. I woudl personally not go bigger than 20" but 21" looks great on that car with what looks to be a lowered suspension, judging by the miniscule fender gap.

I think you're right. I'd save over $800 and I'd running a 20" wheel which would definitely look better. That red Arteon is the one that got me looking at the Suzuka wheel in the 1st place.

The 20" SEL-P Arteon wheels which are only offered in black finish in the U.S. are available in Europe in a silver finish and the turbine design actually looks really nice. The dark finish ruins it for me.

I'm impatient and went with the 20" Tiguan Suzuka wheel. Offset is 38 vs 40 for the Rosario wheels. They should be here in a week . Hope I don't regret doing the +1

Where did you buy them? I'm considering the same wheels for a summer tire setup. Would love to stay OEM and the machined silver/gloss black finish matches up perfectly with the 18" Muscats that came stock on mine.

I went with refurbished wheels from https://www.stockwheels.com
I liked the fact that they test their wheels and recommend that the install shop check the wheel on a spin balancer before mounting tires. They will let you return any wheels before they are mounted on the car.

I was close to getting brand new OEM wheels at https://oemalloywheels.com/product-category/20-inch/. Nice guys over there and they sent me a video of the wheels they had. They quoted £1199 with shipping of £240. A little more expensive and if the price was in Euros I may have gone with them. I'm already way over my budget since I have to get new tires now as well.

If you want to be a guinea pig, these replicas look pretty good. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193616750494?ul_noapp=true. They're nearly identical on the face, but the inside of the wheel looked different enough to scare me off.

All that said and done, looking at the classified section on VWVortex, I've seen these wheels get sold as cheap as $800 for a set.

Thanks Toyin! Not sure I'm ready to be a guinea pig on a $1000+ purchase, lol. The refurbs from StockWheels look great though, I'll probably take the plunge on those. Did you order TPMS sensors through them as well?

Decent 245/45 R20 tires are less expensive than I expected on Tire Rack... assuming that is the correct size for this wheel on our car.

You won’t regret it. The 20’s will look great. are they 8 or 8.5 wide?

I was planning on taking the TPMS sensors and center caps off of my stock wheels.

Tire Rack lists 245/35/ R20 for our cars. Like anything there's a significant range in tire prices. In my experience the expensive tires don't make a significant difference. (At least at the intensities I drive.)

They are 8.5" wide. I think they'll look better than the 19s for sure.

Look what came today . They came with the center caps (which I wasn't expecting)

I'm going to go with the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06. Appointment scheduled for next week.

I can't wait to see pictures of your Arteon with these 20" wheels.

Those look so much better than the 21” version. Can’t wait to see them mounted.

I'm happy!! Looks OEM, but much more aggressive in real life. Ride doesn't seem much different. Handling is significantly better (but that's likely the tire vs the increase in size)
