    Thread: Baggage Cover on the secondary market?

    1. 09-19-2020 09:25 PM #1
      Hi, I'm the new owner of a2011 A3 S-Line Quattro DSG (and a newbie in the forum). When the A3 arrived this week, the baggage cover was missing.
      I called the dealership and they wanted around $650 for that piece of plastic.
      I don't really see anything on the secondary market, but would love to find one in black.
      Does anyone have any recommendations?

      Thanks for the insight.

      ECS has it for $575.

      Ebay = $185 https://www.ebay.com/itm/06-07-08-09...EAAOSwrmRfY0Zb

      Cheaper option would be finding a wreck at a local junkyard. Parcel shelf is likely to survive anything but a bad rear-end.

      Looks like there was a change after 2007 so you'll have to make sure it's from a 2008+ model.

      +1 for junkyard, car-part.com will help you find a local junkyard with pics, although finding that actual part in search is going to be tricky, just call them or show up and ask how much. You could probably pick one up for $50 that way.

      Also order some of these pins that hold it to the lid, they will break if you look at them funny!
