So, I've narrowed it down to these two 'Performance" CUVs. Thank you TCL for your sound TFL advice and recommendations for my previous post.

      First Choice

      2020 BMW X2 M35i

      Pros
      1) Most powerful four banger BMW makes
      2) Immediate power from all power band, hardly any turbo lag
      3) Quick shifting automatic transmission
      4) Good build quality
      5) Quick and composed handling
      6) Compact dimensions for ninja moves
      7) Great exhaust notes

      Cons
      1) Kinda smallish interior
      2) Very small rear window-Can't see sh*t out back
      3) Very stiff ride even with standard 19" rims, forget the 20"
      4) No blind spot detection available
      5) Not really a BMW, but Mini dressed as a BMW
      6) Front-biased AWD means slight understeer
      7) Wanna be M car...I counted no less than 8 M badges on the car

      Second choice

2020 MINI Countryman John Cooper Works

      Pros
      1) Most powerful four banger MINI (and BMW) makes
      2) Immediate power from all power band, hardly any turbo lag
      3) Quick shifting automatic transmission
      4) Good build quality
      5) Quick and composed handling
      6) Practicality
      7) Great exhaust notes
      8) Rare and full of personality

      Cons
      1) Kinda big for a MINI
      2) Media/Entertainment system not up to date
      3) No blind spot detection available
      5) Dealers not negotiating on them due to rarity
      6) Front-biased AWD means slight understeer at limits
      7) More expensive than BMW sibling when fully equipped
      8) I hate cloths seats. No leather seats available on JCW

Both of these cute-utes are built on similar underpinnings, but display very different personalities. Which Sport "Cute-utes" WOOD you recommend?

X2 M35i is VERY wagon-like. And CUV is the new wagon these days.

Hey, I see a MINI Avatar. Do you have a MINI Countryman? If so, tell me about them.

Aren't these the same vehicle underneath? Or do they just share engines? I like the styling better on the X2, but a JCW is more interesting. I would be a little concerned about the ride of the JCW, so I'd definitely need to drive one.

      MINI Clubman JCW

Same 300 HP engine and transmission. Actually much closer to being a wagon than either of the above.

      Ban Uber wagon
Americans hate EVs because they grew up with Power Wheels that were glacially slow, ran out of power in 20 minutes and took an entire day to recharge.

Just lease the X2 like you wanted to. No need to ask TCL for permission.

To get to a decision I voted you get the Mini. Since you mentioned yet another option I would take the ID.4.

Nothing more Uber that an AMG E63S Wagon!

Although an RS6 Avant might be along side it.

I really don't understand why you are doing this.
It seems like a money losing move.

You said this in that other thread "I'm gonna trade it in. I love the S3, but it's just sitting in garage now that I'm working remotely.".

So why get another car now? I'd like to get another car but i think that's boredom kicking in. Current cars just sit in the garage.
Can't even wash them. I detailed the heck out of them months ago and are still pristine.

Just wait until you really need to get rid of the car or things are more back to normal.
